A quick note to let everyone know that so far, you can only download LimeRa1n for Windows. There is no Mac LimeRa1n download yet. According to Geohot himself, a Mac and Linux version of LimeRa1n should be available soon. Update: There is now a Mac and Linux version of LimeRa1n. Limera1n Download Free Limera1n, by geohot, will perform an untethered jailbreak for your iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPad, iPhone 4, or iPod Touch 4G, allowing it to run apps not approved by Apple. Limera1n will also hacktivate an unactivated iPhone if needed, and supports iOS 4.0 to 4.2.

Step 1: Download the Limerain for iPod Touch 4G and 3G.

Step 2: Plug in the phone and launch the limera1n.

Step 3: Click on “Make it ra1n”. Deepin linux 32 bit iso download.

Step 4: Now hold the “Home+Power” button to go into DFU button.

Step 5: Keep holding the Home button, release the Power button.

Step 6: The iPhone is now in DFU mode, wait until Limera1n does its work.

Step 7: Limerain has done its work. Now your iPod Touch 4G and ipod Touch 3G are jailbroken

Step 8: Reboot your phone, lauch Limera1n on your iPhone 4 and select Cydia to install.

Step 9: After the Cydia is installed, you may uninstall the limerain.
